It's like Pro is the same difficulty as Rookie was in say NHL 10, and All-Star is so much harder than All-Star has ever been in any game. I have a franchise mode in NHL 22 and I keep changing between Pro and All-Star because on Pro I can win games without lifting a finger, and on All-Star, I'm playing as good as I can to tie a game and seriously struggle doing so.
Most of being a goalie is mental. You need to focus on the puck to start with. Also make sure to challenge the shooter. The further out you are the less area the shooter has to score.
